Abstract

The period of change from adolescence to adulthood is marked by changes and challenges in various aspects of life, known as emerging adulthood. Concerning the changes and adjustment that occur, individual resilience plays important role in helping them through different challenges and stress as an impact arises. Several studies have suggested that religiosity and psychological well-being can influence a person's resilience. This study involved 208 participants with an age range of 18-29 years who were obtained using purposive sampling techniques. The scales used were the resilience scale (CD-RISC), the religiosity scale (RCI-10), and the Ryff-PWB scale. Multiple regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis and produced a score F=136.265 (p<.05) and created a resilience regression line equation = 2.166 + 0.354 PWB + 0.153 Religiosity. Separately, PWB contributes to resilience by 56.25% and Religiosity contributes by 12.96%. In conclusion, PWB and Religiosity can be predictors of Resilience.
